PRWeek December 11, 2006 PRWeek Diversity Survey 2006 "Stacey Johnes, principal at LA-based Media Tonic, says that clients who don't see the importance of having a diverse workforce - and diverse PR representatives - are missing out on tremendous opportunities for exposure. While her first concern in hiring is finding the most competent person for the job, Johnes says, employees must also offer a 'realistic representation of your city. We're not all upper-middle class white people, because that's not all the audiences we're trying to reach.'"
